Digital Media Strategy & Government Project Communications
Client: Government of Ekiti State
New Media Project Manager Managed digital storytelling and strategic communications to promote policies, infrastructure projects and citizen-centric initiatives of the Government of Ekiti State. This included planning multimedia campaigns, coordinating creative teams, producing documentary-style content and translating government projects into engaging stories that informed, educated and connected with citizens across digital platforms.
Objectives
Develop a comprehensive digital media strategy to inform about government programs. Increase public awareness of infrastructure, healthcare, education and economic development projects. Create engaging visuals such as documentaries, interviews, photography and social media campaigns. Enhance citizen participation by making government communication transparent and accessible Build public trust by showing how government policies and projects affect communities.
Outcomes
Led the planning and production of multimedia content covering major state projects and development programmes. Coordinated a multidisciplinary creative team comprising videographers, photographers, graphic designers, writers, and presenters. Produced documentary-style stories that showcased infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, education, and economic development initiatives. Developed digital campaigns that improved public visibility of government achievements and community impact.
